NeNe Leakes Ties The Knot For the Second Time
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leaks and her husband Gregg tied the knot on Saturday, June 22, in a lavish ceremony in Atlanta, Ga.
The ceremony was held at the five star InterContinental Buckhead Hotel.
NeNe, 45, wore a white Gabrielle Arango gown.
The reality show star, walked down the aisle — escorted by sons Bryson Bryant and Brentt — to the sound of Whitney Houston‘s “I Believe in You and Me”, as performed by gospel singer Kim Burrell, reports RadarOnline.
According to a source that attended the wedding, more than 400 guests were present; Kenya Moore was not there, Judge Greg Mathis officiated the ceremony and NeNe refused to repeat the standard “for richer or poorer” line, opting instead only for “richer and richer.”
NeNe had nine bridesmaids, including ‘RHOA’ costars Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton, Basketball Wives LA star Laura Govan, Basketball Wives Miami star Jennifer Williams and her BFF Diana Gowins.
Star Jones‘ ex-husband, Al Reynolds, was one of Gregg’s nine groomsmen.
Vivica Fox, The Young and the Restless star Victoria Rowell, Omarosa, Tameka Raymond, the ex-wife of Usher, and Michelle Epps, the wife of comedian Mike Epps attended the ceremony.
Gregg presented NeNe with a crystal portrait of herself, telling the audience “we started from the bottom now we here” as the DJ played Drake’s hit song with those same lyrics, a source said. No word if it was the cut or uncut version…
Music during the wedding was provided by a host of performers, including the Good Times Brass Band, Gasner Allen and The Atlanta ‘Seeit’ Choir and American Idol season 2 winner, Fantasia.
NeNe and Gregg had this to say to their guests: “Our lives are truly richer because of your friendship, support, prayer, encouragement and unconditional love. We are overjoyed to continue in this journey together. Each of you holds a special place in our hearts and we are truly blesses that you are here to celebrate with us.”
The couple’s road to remarriage will be documented for a spin-off show, I Dream of NeNe, and will air in the fall.
